Mike Hudson Unmedicated
Mike
Hudson's first full length solo release after a 30 year
music career. Mike Hudson was best known for being
the lead vocalist of the Cleveland legendary 70's punk
band PAGANS. This release includes guest musicians Cheetah
Chrome (Dead Boys) & others.
After Mike's brother Brian Hudson
(Pagans drummer) died in 1991, Mike left Cleveland
and moved to New York where he fell into a six year binge.
Within those six years, all the tracks on this CD were
recorded.
You can hear the sadness in Mike's voice, on tracks "Brian
Always Said" & "Nothing". There
are a lot of upbeat tracks as well, like "Downtown
Beirut", "At
The Party" & " All Fall Down". Listen
to the lyrics of the opening track "Anything".
It tells a tale of a man at the end of his luck, holding
on to what little he had.
This release is straight from
the heart... Real rock n' roll all the way! Like
the ways of the Pagans, these tracks are raw with loads
of
energy.
I'm very proud & honored to be able to release
this CD for Mike Hudson. I hope you enjoy it as much
as I
do.
