B.A. Baracus

From: Columbus, Ohio
B.A. Baracus was born in the Fall of 2001 in Columbus, Ohio. Four
guys got together for one goal. That goal was to play pure rock n'
roll. Rock n' roll that the older generation forgot about & the
younger generation does not know about. This is due to MTV, bad radio
and major labels that do not care about real music any more. B.A.
Baracus was the answer to, and a remedy for whiny nu metal crap & hip
hop / rap shit forced down people's throats. This poor excuse for
music had begun to infiltrate playlists and CD collections across
the land. B.A. Baracus was armed with a sturdy belief in the glory
of rock and roll and the knowledge they had gained from influences
such as The Rolling Stones, MC5, Iggy Pop & Black Crowes. B.A.
Baracus is also influenced by their local heroes, the New Bomb Turks.

Baracus spent the last five years spreading the message of the
true rock sound. Every show was an event, and all in attendance
would be not only satisfied but also invigorated with the same
love of good old rock and roll. Since their inception, the band
has played a steady diet of venues across the Midwest.
In the spring
of 2006, the band went into the recording studio to record their
first testament of pure heavenly rock music. What resulted was
the band's amazing Self Titled debut CD. B.A.
Baracus' CD is filled
with high energy rock with a splash of 60's garage sound. The band's
music delivers the spirit of true rock greats from the 60's & 70's.
B.A. Baracus is the new testament of rock n' roll!
